Admissions Process
Beyond the standard university admissions hurdles, students applying to Oxbridge may be expected to jump through additional hoops, for example, Cambridge’s “My Cambridge Application”, sample essays, admissions assessments and interviews (usually in December).

(Please note: some Cambridge courses will have College Admission Assessments which are short tests sat by candidates who have already been shortlisted for interview. These do not require advance registration and will be sorted by the specific college you have applied for. Sometimes the test will be sat during the interview day. Check the admissions test website for the latest information on which test your college requires for your subject).

Oxbridge interview tutoring

Offers
After the interview, if an applicant is successful, they will likely receive a conditional offer ranging from AAA to A*A*A*A* (or equivalent), perhaps including other special requirements like grades for STEP examinations.
Post-Offer Tuition
Our tutors can provide support throughout the rest of the academic year in order to maximise the offer holder’s chance of meeting these exam requirements. This involves rigorous, syllabus-specific tuition with a significant emphasis on exam technique.
If a candidate meets their entry requirements, the universities can sometimes issue problem sheets for the students to complete to lay a bit of the groundwork and bring the students up to speed before commencing the course. Our tutors can support with this, too.
