At Athena Tuition, our specialist Chemistry tutors can offer precise, syllabus-targeted teaching, whilst also stretching students beyond the syllabus, where appropriate. We have both in-person and online tutors on our books. In-person tuition is most readily provided in London.

Why study Chemistry?

Chemistry is the scientific discipline of intermediate scope, between Biology and Physics. 

It, therefore, has an exceptionally diverse reach, from Microbiology to Geology, Pharmacology to Forensics, and the Periodic Table to Energetics. A strong understanding of the principles of Chemistry confers an advantage when studying almost every scientific discipline, particularly at higher levels.

Chemistry is a challenging subject, both from a conceptual perspective and in terms of content volume. Those with a good understanding of Chemistry, though, are well-placed to find roles within STEM fields.

Teodor is a full-time private tutor, specialising in Chemistry. He has Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Chemistry from University of Oxford and has been one of our most utilised Chemistry tutors for several years. Teodor is an online tutor, utilising an array of resources in conjunction with an interactive whiteboard to help to make his tuition extremely engaging. He has excellent subject knowledge across the board, however, his real passion is Organic Chemistry!
